IYKYK. Ambiance is negative 5 and borderline comical creepy, but I got the hands-down BEST hot and sour soup I have ever eaten. The egg rolls were fantastic, too. All piping hot and freshly made.
Carry-out only but food is good and reasonably priced. Closed on Tuesdays. A go-to place when needing a Chinese food fix.
It's incredible every time. I love this place. I call in a pick up order and it's always ready when I get there. Their food quality is consistent and they're great at what they do! 5/5 would recommend!
After seeing the reviews. I still tried this place and it was so good. Everything made to order. Hot and fresh. Im a fan of the shrimp rolls. Only con is you have to either go there to place your order or catch them on a slow day to place a to go order.
We've eaten there many many times and live just down the street this place is fabulous fresh you may have to wait a few minutes but you get fresh hot good food!
My first visit. I've left golden dragon after 10 years, I've had enough of them. At China chef, they were SO helpful in helping me choose exactly what I was looking for. Super friendly! My choice was chicken with mixed vegetables. Perfect! Exactly what I wanted.

Based on the reviews I read online, here and elsewhere, I gave China Chef II a shot. It is one of the best takeout Chinese I have run into. The ingredients seemed fresh and well-prepared, the service was good, and it was conveniently located for me. I tried the Beef Lo Mein, and was pleased. The beef was thick and tender, the noodles light and flavorful. I purchased the Sweet and Sour Chicken for the kids (I would have preferred to try the pork for this trial run, but was over-ruled) and it was cooked well enough, the sauce fairly standard fare. The Kung Po Beef was my favorite, again with well prepared beef, fresh ingredients and enough heat to keep me interested. The Shrimp Rolls and Crab Rangoon were both delicious. I did not try my usual Chinese bellwether dish, Hot and Sour soup, but I will on my next visit, which I will plan on soon.
I had the same experience at Dragon City, Kim W. China Chef is my Go2 for great take out!! Extremely fast and some of the best egg rolls around. I've loved everything I've ordered
